Wheat and barley are the building blocks for this unique American Whiskey, with supporting roles played by corn and rye. This four grain recipe harkens back to a pre industrial farmhouse style. Grassy, floral notes with the fresh oak sweetness of a bourbon & hints of tobacco. Delicate with a long finish.
VBS Rye is distilled from New York State rye, with a touch of malted barley. Spicy on the palate with sweet floral nose, hints of coffee and chocolate, with raisins and cherries, and a lovely toasted almond finish.
VBS Bourbon is a four grain wheated bourbon distilled from New York corn. Bold and full bodied with notes of chocolate, butterscotch, sweet cream and banana, finishing smooth with hints of spice pepper, maple, nuts and coffee.
Single Malt is our unique take on a scotch-style whiskey. We use multiple styles of malted barley sourced from all over the world, and follow the American tradition of aging in virgin oak casks. Bright with a touch of grassy oak. Hints of tobacco, clove and apricot give way to caramel notes with a nutty, dark chocolate finish.
VBS Due North Rum is an amber rum distilled from organic, unprocessed Himalayan sugarcane. Notes of vanilla and molasses recall grandmother's cookies, while the fresh charred barrels make this a whiskey lovers' rum.
VBS Smoked Corn Whiskey is as American as it gets: bold and beautiful and just a little dangerous. A campfire in a glass. Distilled from 80% corn and 20% wheat, grown in New York State and smoked right at the distillery using American hardwood and aged in our own used bourbon casks for 2 years.
VBS White Rye is distilled from 100% New York State Rye. Pleasantly fruity up front (it's practically an eau de vie!) with strong herbal notes, it finishes with Rye's characteristic spiciness. This unaged whiskey is an excellent cocktail ingredient.
